• Singaporeans with minimum 2 years of working experience in the industry and a strong work performance record
• Committed to deepen skills in Internationalisation
• Must not have completed course of study at the point of application
• Not a previous recipient of any SkillsFuture Study Award
• Must provide proof of acceptance/ enrolment into the course and proof of payment at claims submission stage
   
• Individual applicants are encouraged to provide a Letter of Recommendation/ Testimonial from your current or previous employer to form part of our evaluation. Employers' input could include how the nominees will apply the learning from the course to their current and future job roles in driving the company's overseas growth strategies.
• Those who are unable to provide employers' input may be asked for more information to aid in the assessment of the application.

Note: Only applicants who have been accepted into the courses listed below will be considered.

*Applicants must submit their application before course completion, and courses must commence before 31 March 2021 to be considered for the Award.

Evaluation

• Applicants who have met the eligibility criteria do not automatically qualify for the SkillsFuture Study Award as evaluations will be considered holistically and based on the merits of each application.
• ESG may contact the applicant and/or employers/referees for further clarification.
• Evaluations will take approximately 6 to 8 weeks after the respective application closing dates. Successful applicants will receive an electronic Letter of Offer (e-LOF) while unsuccessful applicants will be also notified via email.

Note

• The decision of the Selection Panel for the SkillsFuture Study Award is final.
• ESG reserves the right not to disclose the reasons for approving or rejecting any application, and to reject any incomplete or inaccurate application.
• ESG will not respond to enquiries or disputes on or in connection with the Panel's decisions.

Application Process

Click on "Apply Now" to submit an application via the online portal. Please upload the following documents through the online portal: 

• Copy of your coloured NRIC (front and back)
• Resume/ Employment History
• Letter of recommendation/testimonial from your current or previous employer OR Contact details of 2 referees with prior or existing working relationships with you (if any)

Successful applicants will receive an e-LOF which they are to reply with their acceptance within 14 days from the date of e-offer, otherwise their offer will be considered as lapsed.

All Award Recipients are encouraged to submit the following documents within 1 month from the e-LOF to receive a once-off disbursement of $5,000:

1. Original signed Claim Form
2. Completed GIRO Form
3. Copy of coloured NRIC (front and back)
4. Proof of acceptance into the course indicating the full course period (i.e. start date and end date of the course)
5. Proof of payment of course fees (partial or full)
6. Course attendance OR Certificate of completion (if applicable)

As proof of successful course completion for their approved course, Award Recipients are required to submit the Certificate of Completion (or equivalent) within 6 calendar months from the end of the course. E-mail submissions are accepted. 

The award is valid for one calendar year from the date of the e-LOF. If the required documents are not received within 12 months from the date of e-LOF, the award will be considered as lapsed. Disbursements will take approximately 8 to 12 weeks after the receipt of complete documents. All applicants will be notified on their disbursements via email.
