We will phase out the SkillsFuture Qualification Award, as it has met its objective of encouraging take up of Singapore Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) full qualifications over time. Eligible Singaporeans who wish to apply for the award should complete their WSQ qualifications by 31 December 2022, and submit their applications by 31 March 2023. Overview

The SkillsFuture Qualification Award encourages Singaporean workers to attain WSQ full qualifications, which equip them with comprehensive and robust sets of skills to perform their jobs competently, pursue career progression, and explore new job opportunities.

Singaporean workers who attain a WSQ full qualification can apply for a cash award of $200 or $1,000 (disbursed via PayNow). Your eligibility for the award is based on the date of attainment of your WSQ qualification.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the SkillsFuture Qualification Award, you must meet the following criteria:

You have attained a WSQ full qualification within the specified qualifying period (see table below).

You are a Singaporean Citizen at the time of attainment of the qualifying WSQ qualification.

You are not a full-time student at the Polytechnics or ITE at the time of attainment of the WSQ qualification. This condition does not apply to adults who are in the workforce.

First-time attainment of one of the following WSQ full qualification ($200 Award):

Advanced Certificate

First-time attainment of one of the following WSQ full qualification ($1,000 Award):
Diploma
Specialist Diploma

From 1 January 2016 to 31 July 2019

Every attainment of the following WSQ full qualification ($200 Award):
Certificate
Higher Certificate
Advanced Certificate

Every attainment of the following WSQ full qualification ($1,000 Award):
Diploma
Specialist Diploma
Graduate Certificate
Graduate Diploma

From 1 August 2019 to 31 December 2022

For following WSQ frameworks: Business Management; Employability Skills; Leadership and People Management; and Service Excellence	Every attainment of WSQ full qualification ($200 Award)
For all other WSQ frameworks	Every attainment of the following WSQ full qualification ($200 Award): Certificate Higher Certificate Advanced Certificate Every attainment of the following WSQ full qualification ($1000 Award): Diploma Specialist Diploma Graduate Certificate Graduate Diploma

Application Process

Click on "Apply Now" to submit an application via the online portal. Please note that you will need to have a SingPass account and a PayNow account linked to your NRIC to apply for the SkillsFuture Qualification Award. All applications must be submitted by 31 March 2023. No applications will be accepted thereafter.
